Spring, where are you?

As I sit typing, snow begins to trickle here and there. We are suppose to get up to 12 inches of snow this weekend...12...thats a foot of snow. What is up with you, Spring, you fickle, fickle gal! Winter really needs to loosen her grip and come to realization that your time is over...Let Spring shine and warm my white, glowing legs, arms and face, before I blind someone!

Blake is on Spring Break this weekend and has been tormenting me with his stories of campfires on the beach, endless nights of pina coladas and playing in the warm, salty ocean. I think I might pull my hair out. I really thought and hoped that Spring had arrived when the weather was up to 70 degrees and the sun was shining, but then, the weather man said snow, and my stomach dropped. I was suppose to go visit a friend this weekend, but that won't be happening now that we are to be experiencing a blizzard this weekend. I'm not meant for this weather...I'm a beach bum girl trapped in a snow globe.

I flit, I float, I fleetly flee, I fly

This week has been hectic and stressful and I'm ready for the weekend to whisk me away!

And I'm not a believer of horoscopes, but my daily horoscope seems to agree that its time for a break from adulthood:

"It's time to let your wild child out to play! You need a break from responsibility."

Like Mother, Like Daughter

If you thought I was a klutz, wait till ya hear this story about my mother. My mom came to visit me this weekend, and all was fine and dandy till mom had to leave on Sunday. She always get a little teary eyed and stressed when we part, but this was just ridiculous. The day started off with slipping on ice while attempting to pack the car...then, we went to Macy's where her Macy's card was denied and she made a scene...then, we were riding in the car, she's drinking a can of soda and starts laughing...soda comes streaming out of her nose and splatters everywhere including my face...then, just when we thought nothing else could go wrong because we were safe in my home, mom proves us both wrong and sets taco shells on fire in the oven. I'm talking large, firey flames from the oven!!! It was absolutely ridiculous and it gave us both a good laugh :)

Thanks for another fun, calamitous, unforgettable weekend! Love you mom!

Dreaming about summer

I am ready for SUMMER! The weather is being stubborn and has gone back to 20 degrees and possible chance of snow :( I'm boycotting this weather and have began to dream about summer.

I found this swimsuit on VS website and immediately feel in LOVE! There's just something so happy about yellow and ruffles :)
